Clark kicks off Monarch Research’s Webinar Series this Saturday with “Planting Forward: The Critical Need for Native Plants and Trees in our Landscapes.” This will be the first in a five-part conference series intended to INSPIRE our community to engage in habitat restoration activities in their backyards or acreages. Invite your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers to join in the fun as we kick off Spring with a tribute to nature!
In this one-hour session, Clark will be discussing:
- The critical role native plants and trees perform in our ecosystem
- The crisis facing our insect population
- How to create “living landscapes” on your property
- Local Monarch Research programs
- How you can join Linn County’s “Planting Forward” movement
As a special treat, we will be showing video clips from a recent presentation by the renowned entomologist, Dr. Tallamy (who is scheduled to return in October!). You will also have the opportunity to view a stunning video of local prairies you can visit with your family and friends.
