Joining the Mighty Acorn Society as a Founding Member is limited to the first 250 people who sign up. No prior experience or special tools are needed—just a one-time $5 fee.

Our goal is to plant 1,000 trees by June 2025, and we need your help to make it happen!

Why Join?

1. Small Cost, Big Impact: For just $5, you’ll get all the materials, training, and expert guidance you need to grow and plant new trees, year after year.
2. Free Supplies: Receive air-pruning pots, potting soil, air pruning tray (made of repurposed redwood), deer protection, cardboard ground covering, and your choice of four Iowa-native oak acorns.
3. Hands-On Experience: Nurture your trees on a sunny windowsill as the snow melts, then plant them outside in June—at home, in a park, or at our new oak savanna.
